Maakrit, which translates to “ Maa’s creation” is a tribute to the rich culinary heritage of India and our planet, Mother Earth .At Maakrit, we believe that food can be both healthy and delicious. Maakrit was born out of a desire to create treats that were not only delicious but also good for people and the planet. Founder Priya Jain, along with her mother and mother-in-law, set out to create a range of treats made from 100% natural ingredients and packaged with earth-friendly materials. Our vision is to create treats that are super healthy and extremely delicious. We cater to a variety of dietary needs and preferences, including diabetics, chocoholics, and foodies. All our products are made using no refined sugar, salt, flour, or oil, and no preservatives, artificial colours, flavours, or emulsifiers. We pack all our treats in biodegradable, reusable packaging to reduce our impact on the environment. At Maakrit, we aim to develop a conscious mindset among kids and individuals for their food and their planet. We achieve this through educational initiatives and partnerships with schools and community organizations. In addition, we always strive to create employment opportunities for artisans, underprivileged individuals, and women.
